I am a wife and mum of six beautiful children. We moved to USA in 2015 from Wales, UK. We moved to Oklahoma three months ago from St Augustine, Florida where I was a photographer and personal trainer. Strange mixture I know, but I just love doing both and it keeps my life interesting, as if the six children aren’t enough 🙂 We moved to Oklahoma as my husband was appointed as a coach for the OU soccer team.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband is an international soccer coach who has done so much in his career! From coaching the England national team to sitting on the board to support LGBTQ community in soccer. Our children range between 19 and 3, we just love our big family even if it is crazy at times!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started out wanting to be a nurse or paramedic. I cared for the elderly and disabled children for a long time. It just didn’t work when having such a big family. The hours were too long, and it was such a mentally exhausting job. I crossed over into photography around 10 years ago and never looked back. I just love creating beautiful memories through my work, seeing my clients faces when they see their story in pictures is just priceless. I added personal training and group fitness in because it’s just something else that I love. I adore helping people live happier, healthier lives through fitness nutrition and education.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
The natural earth food cafe is my favorite. The food is fresh, healthy and so tasty! I also love Thai Delight; their food is so flavorful!

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
Only three months.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I haven’t really had chance to meet anyone yet. Would love to change that soon.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Spain, it was my grandma’s favorite place. I love it there; it reminds me of her 💕

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I love American ninja warrior, I also love the movie ‘up’, yes it’s a kids movie, but I don’t care haha

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Always be kind to others and yourself. Don’t be afraid to admit when you’re wrong, especially to your loved ones. Life is too short, live it how you want to live it.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Open a charity for victims of domestic abuse.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Jagged edge

I haven’t lived here long enough for this one 🙂

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Pink! We would go to the natural earth foods cafe, then maybe for a few beers after. I just love how unapologetically authentic she is.

Hopefully with more than one location of business opened!

I went through a stage of putting myself into activities that pulled me right out of my comfort zone. I walked the catwalk, which was terrifying, I fought in the ring at kickboxing, also scary. Among other things…

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
The beach. Any beach. Barbados was particularly beautiful.
